Politivi is the personal blog of Christopher Calvi.
Christopher grew up in Linwood, New Jersey, a suburb of Atlantic City. He spent his teenage years working as a lifeguard on the Margate City Beach Patrol, and volunteering as an EMT for the Linwood Rescue Squad. After graduating from Mainland Regional High School in 2000, Christopher headed south to the Georgia Institute of Technology. There he earned a B.S. in Public Policy, and completed a substantial load of coursework in computer science as well. While at Georgia Tech, Christopher was also involved in several campus activities, interned with the legendary Congressman John Lewis, and studied abroad in Belgium and Cuba.
Christopher has worked on political campaigns in numerous local, state, and federal elections. After working in 2004 on the field team of Rep. Allyson Schwartz in Philadelphia, he took a few months off, and then moved out west to sunny Los Angeles where he lives today.
Currently, Christopher is the business development manager for Shopzilla.com, the largest shopping comparison search engine in the United States. He also proudly serves on the board of directors for the 24th Street Theatre.
